In fact, Russia and China have cut off 28 critical minerals for making missiles and advanced weapons to the US, which has pushed the US into a severe minerals shortage. China and Russia collectively make-up 51% of the Asian land mass, and Russia makes up 40% of Europe geographically; these countries are using that to their advantage.
It will take the US years to decades to find those minerals elsewhere in the world, plus additional time for mining, extraction, and purification.
