Iran does not need to block the Hormuz Strait, do not need to mine it, or sink ships in it, to make it impenetrable. Iran only need to say, we will only allow certain traffic to pass Hormuz. We will slow the rate of traffic passing through Hormuz. Iran only needs to these, and the insurance companies in London and elsewhere will do the rest. They will say, no, thank you, no ships in Hormus, too big a risk for us. I think these are things they are probably discussing with Putin now.
