By now, currently days into the Trump-backed ceasefire which has stuck between nuclear-armed neighbors India and Pakistan, it\'s no secret that Islamabad had a big victory over the skies of Jammu and Kashmir against the Indian air force.
Nikkei and many other publications cited Pakistan\'s military to report last week that Pakistan was able to down up to five Indian fighters jets, amid what was widely called the most significant dogfighting since WW2. Some 125 jets were said to be active at the peak of the aerial fighting, with Pakistani officials claiming to have downed three Rafale jets, one MiG-29, and a SU-30.
It was Pakistan\'s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar who informed parliament on Wednesday evening that Chinese J-10Cs were utilized to shoot down the Indian jets. If accurate, this marks the first time that an aircraft in China\'s J-10 family has seen combat. By all accounts the J-10 \'Dragon\' triumphed in the intense direct war environment.
